Outreach Manager

MayaSunshine Custodio

I joined Pilipinx in Wellness to actively contribute to wellness equity within the Pilipinx community. The knowledge and wisdom shared through the podcast deeply inspired me, resonating with my own family upbringing and fostering a deeper connection to our ancestors. My personal wellness practices include expressive arts such as painting, journaling, and crafting. I also find balance and grounding through morning meditations, nature walks, and dancing hula.

Kathleen Kristine Torio

Development Coordinator

Kathleen Kristine Torio is our Development Coordinator who joined PxW to foster a stronger Filipinx community through promoting health and wellness serving initially in her former role as our Social Media Strategist.

At the heart of her wellness practice is her faith in God. Whether it’s spending time with Him through reading His word or journaling, her connection with God is the foundation that keeps her grounded and balanced. She also enjoys staying active by moving her body, spending time at the beach, coffee shop, or her backyard with a good book, and indulging in some therapy shopping.

When she’s not working on the podcast, Kathleen is involved in her community, supporting or organizing events. She works with nonprofits, community organizations, and small businesses to help further their mission through financial development and/or social media.
